| To over come the issue of dropping me while using ebay, I installed a fresh copy of win 2000 pro on my computer and configured the Norton Internet Security on it. I applied all changes that allow me the range of IP addresses. I don’t know any other settings. |

| It is advisable that remove your router from network and the reconnect it to the network. That may solve this. Please disable the Norton which makes more problems for you. |

I supposed that there are Norton causes more problems in past with many users. Some people told me that Norton blocks the network traffic using IP Address. You have to uninstall it first and then try to solve your problem.

| I think that Sygate personal firewall is also the best for your network. There are several other firewalls like Zone Alarm Personal / Pro Firewall, Sygate personal firewall, etc. |

Wait, Wait….
Before uninstalling Norton, please follow the some of important steps. Assign private IP address on all of the network computers and give permissions in Norton. I don’t think that route can create some problems. Because I uses this for to solve same problem you have. |
