| Yes, it’s right. The cable modem is the second & I think it is the only component that & I using is 10/100. |

I think that this occurred only with the cable/DSL modems that are based on 10Base-T (10Mbps) Network devices. |

| Have you tried power off the modem for at least 30 sec? I think this thread is working perfect. |

| The switching off router & modem that takes almost 30 sec. Then power up the modem & give 45 sec to warm up & after plug in the router to the modem. Now see how it goes. I have seen the problem after reconnecting the cable modem to devices while power is on. |

Any one knows that the D-Link router’s which version is most problematic for us.

| Good, Only thing I have to change that. In most of Motorola modems it’s online light which doesn’t go unless the send & receive lights are on. |

the ip of the modem is the same as the ip of the router (192.168.1.1)
change router ip to xxx.xxx.x.2 and youll be fine |
