F@#K OFF with yer scanspyware.net SPAMvertising... Not only is the information on this page incorrect, it is payware. Can't we herring posts here?
I also found some tftpxxx zero files in windows/system that should be removed, eg TFTP2644.
Manual removal as above is the only way to go it seems.

It has not been removed
at me the virus is in taskmngr.exe and i couldnt remove it manually
I have Windows XP and Norton Antivirus. I tried also the removal utility from xxx that didn't work either.

Just try AVG Antivirus. My computer is secure because i am using AVG Antivirus, Zone Alaram that will not allow any external appliaction to access interenet, and Microsoft antispyware which remove all spyware and adware. So, go ahead and download and your computer will be safe from w32.spybot.worm virus.

Thanks for your help regarding w32.spybot.worm. I really appreciate your reply. I will follow all steps and check if it fixes my problem or not and then i will reply you once again.
Thats a good link. Here i have posted short steps to take quick look for removing w32.spybot.worm. If you dont know how to disable system resotre then you need to go with symantec.com and you will get detail idea.
Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Update the virus definitions.
Run a full system scan, and delete all files detected.
Delete the value that was added to the registry.
Delete any zero-byte files in the Startup folder.
Reenable the SharedAccess service (Windows 2000/XP only)

The above steps work for me to fix w32.spybotworm but after followed all steps and after some days i found my computer infected with w32.spybot.worm. Please help me.
