How to Configure a POP3 E-mail Client
The following are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Mail:
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail name (your address without the "@yahoo.com")
E-mail address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (i.e. user@yahoo.com)
Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

For hotmail
POP3 = pop3hot.com
SMTP = mx1.hotmail.com
I use it this way and it works fine.

| Hi, The server addresses given by RAUL are incorrect ... my outlook express keeps on asking me my yahoo password a million times and it simply dosent login....... also mail.domain dosent work for gmail and in general |

| i'm using mozilla thunderbird, and i want to get my @msn.com mail account to work... would i use the same pop3 settings as hotmail? and would it be better to use smtp? |
