Hi Friends,

I use Compaq 2.4 GHz with Win2000 on my home. I use Outlook Express 2002 to check emails from Internet. When I am trying to receive my emails, I see that my computer downloads the messages from Internet but they never appear on my outlook.
All information entered by me on Outlook Express while creating my account is correct.

There is something wrong but I don’t know where.
Do you have any solution for that?

Thanks.

Complete the following instruction to resolve this issue:-
First of all open outlook express.
From Tool menu, select Options.
Select Connection tab.
Make sure that the box next to Hang up after sending and receiving is Not checked.
Then click Ok.
You will now able to stay connected after send and receive mail from outlook express.

This error caused when you have checked the option in Account properties – Secure Password Authentication.
To solve this Error perform following steps:

- Double click on Account name , then click on Server tab. There are two options displayed. Logon using and Logon using Secure Password Authentication.

Now check that on the logon using screen, the account name & password not locked. Click on Account name. Write your username and then the password in password box. Microsoft Outlook Express is the widest useful software that mainly used for the checking messages Offline.
It is the freeware & easy to use program available with all the Windows versions but for the users, backing up the email messages is more complicated for the users. Its backup stored in the .dbx file. To create a backup of Outlook express please follows the following steps:
- Open Outlook Express, Tools Menu, Click on Options,
- Select maintenance and click on store folder button. Copy the path displayed in the dialog box. Then click on Ok.
- To view the backup files of Outlook express, paste the path in the Windows Address bar. It displays the list of .dbx files that are the backup files of Outlook Express.

To create backup of outlook express email messages, you can use Win Backup. It is simple & easy to use application that automatically finds your email messages and asks you to where to save the backup file.
Win Backup also locates and finds the address book on your computer. After getting, it automatically Baking up your messages and address book entries on your computer.

Hi Buddies,

I want to create a network of 10 PCs for my new office with the help of firewall. For that I buy ADSL Wireless Router and I’m trying to configure my network PCs and I get Internet using my ASUS Ethernet card. I still not tried for the wireless router. My Problem is just simple that I can access the Internet but I can’t get me messages in outlook. Suggest me any ideas about what I should do.

Thanks for you quick reply.

I never think about Outlook Express Settings.
It is very simple to change my accounts using left column on that window.
That's good, but one thing that I want to know from the user -
Which email client you recommend me in place of Outlook?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

I use my old P-2 366 MHz on my home. I have 10 email messages on my Outlook express 6.0 Outbox. I want to move or delete them in my personalized folder, but it can’t move or delete. When I want to Sending out my messages to others Outlook Express says that POP3 warning of Local Area Network. Please help me.

Hi Curt,

If you want to permanently delete the emails stored in Outlook Express Outbox, I have the Solution for that.
- Press Start è click on Search(Find). Type Outbox.dbx in the blank area and click on Search.
- After Finishing the Search, right click on Outbox.dbx and click on delete. That deleted the outbox mails stored in your outbox of Outlook Express.

Hope it will solve your problem.
Thanks for Questioning.
