Follow this steps.
Double click on 'My Computer' icon.
Now double click on 'Dial-up Networking' icon.
Right click on the 'BudgetSurf' icon and select 'Properties'.
Select the 'Server Types' tab, and ensure you have the 'Type of Dialup Server' set to 'PPP: Internet, Windows NT Server, Windows 98. If you do not have this option, select the one starting with 'PPP:'
Click the 'OK' button, and try to connect again. |

Error 720 in Win XP |
|
|
How to fix this error 720 in Win XP?
The modem dials, verifies username and password, and disconnects just as the "Registering computer on network" dialog appears. It fails with error 720.
I connect the modem on another computer, no problem to connect the modem on another computer. Installed another modem, same problem : ERROR 720.
Can some one clarify ?
Please quick reply !!!!!!!! |

Hello,
Error 720: No PPP control protocols configured.
First you need to check your setting. Also check PPP protocols configured correctly. If you still you have same problem reinstall DUN. |
