I have now configured the network and the ICS machine is set to 192.168.0.1 , the AP is set to 192.168.0.10 , and the laptop is set to 192.168.0.4. all subnets are 255.255.255.0.I still cannot get the internet on the laptop, also I set up a workgroup. The Main pc can see both Machines in the work group but the laptop doesn't recognise the main PC. I have also noticed that the laptop is not receving any packets.
Any ideas?

Are you definitely sure that you have joined the wireless network and do not have any WEP setup? Can the laptop see the other PC on the network?
This sounds like the problem seen by nor in this thread:
http://solwiseforum.co.uk/showthrea...p;threadid=6331
and his turned out to be a WEP issue ...
Actually managed to ping the ICS pc and the AP from the laptop. I think I was sitting in a dead zone and the signal wasn't strong enough.
I managed to setup file and printer sharing, but before I could configure the internet I had to turn the firewall and intrusion blocker back on so will have to wait til later to see if anything else works.
i am having similar problems to the people above. I am trying to connect to a Buffalo WBR-G54 wireless access point. I have setup the WAP-011A as a access point client and entered the BSSID but it is not connecting. I have also tried in bridge mode but I think that is wrong.
Also the drivers on the Solwise website seem very different to the ones provide on the CD that came with the device. Using the Solwise drivers I can't even connect to the device and they seem to be made by Cirrus Logic and the device is ADMTek.
Any help would be great.
