Vonage send your voicemails to other email addresses!
Beware!!!
Vonage Users: Check your email notification now!
Please login to the Vonage website and check if your voicemails are being emailed to an account other than yours.
Log into your Vonage account online, Click on Call forwarding, then find your number and click next and then click on Email notification, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR EMAIL IS THERE. IF IT SOMEONE ELSE, REPORT IT TO VONAGE. The customer service rep told me that it was my computer, but when i tried other computers my email addresses were changing. This ruined my business because i didnot get my voice mails. , I am very upset and i really have tried everything to get vonage to see this problem, they keep telling me that its only my account and there are not making changes, they recommended that i change my password, i been changing my password very day now and they are still sending my emails to other addresses. Almost every two days i have to go back in and change the email address to mine. VONAGE IS BEING HACKED! or THEY are at voliation of thier own privacy policy!!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL NOTIFICATION FOR VONAGE!

Vonage voice mail problems
please keep us upto date on vonage. that is horible that vonage has such a huge security lapse and is not doing anything about. I think your personal voicemails should be private and you should file a complaint with the FCC... or which ever is the correct organigation.
VONAGE FIX THE VOICEMAIL ISSUES!!! This is not the first time I hear of this and I was actually thinking about signing up to vonage.

vonage problems
I have had this same problem with my vonage account. I wanted my voice mail mailed to me and instead somehow i would log in after a few days and realize that my email address to where the voice mail should be mailed has been changed.
I went with packet8 and I have not had this problem any more. Get rid of vonage is all i got to say.

terrible customer service
I emailed the customer support reps about this issue a number of times and i got next to no responses from vonage on this issue. Vonage is very slow to respond and I would love to know the telephone commission on how poorly vonage is handling the privacy of this issue.
vonage GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER ANF FIX THE VOICEMAIL email address changing. Not for me but other customer also. [/b]

Update
I was able to prove of the Vonage reps that my emails were not getting sent to me, he gave me a reference number and then said that another ENGINEER would email me for furthre support. Well i got the email from a TECHINCAL SUPPORT REP, who asked if he can log into my account. I told you yes, please log into my account to correct this problem, he emails me back and says, sorry i made a mistake, i wanted to know your username and password. I checked the source of the email and the so forth, it seemed legite to i replied back with nearly all of the information, i am waiting a reply, and today has been what the 3th week. Still no reply, I have the reference id, so i am going to contact them monday to see what they say. My last reference id got expired.. or something any the rep said he would create another ticket.. lets see what happens.
Guys, i am seriously thinking about just dropping vonage because of all this BS, i know that time warner is coming out with digital phone soon, do know you anything about it?

Vonage
I thought I had set a record-I became a Vontage customer 3-9 and canceled on 3-12. Then I saw in another forum that someone canceled after 2 days.
After two routers and about $150 charged on my c-account (called VISA to drop their charges) they win, a gave up and will go back to ATT. Costomer servise is great...if you are calling to sign-up. Call tech. support and it's a 45 minute wait.
Now being a business person and believing that if your going to complain you also should have a possable solution, I say we start a new company. We can call it SOUPAGE, and for $10 a month (no hidden fees) we will promise unlimited calls. When people sign on we will send them a empty soup can with some string (of course we will need a lot of customers to make this work) and we can set up a toll free help line that actually rings to a busy signal. I see a potential IPO here, I wonder if we can get Gates in on this?
