Somewhere, sometime I've seen a link to a program which will configurably save a BU copy of a Word file to a folder/CD/Zipdisk or whatever.

I can't find any reference to it in the Win-XP or MSWord_XP help files.

Does anyone know of it ?

I've not heard of any third party application that does that but Word can create a backup file in the same folder.
Goto tools > options > save > tick always create backup copy
