The coaxial cable is the best Cable. Nowadays RG6 coaxial is good with well-furnished connectors. It is better to have good cable line that is already installed on your network is good. |

| I use Philips Quad Shielded Digital Satellite Grade RG6 coaxial cable with gold connectors. It gives faster Internet without any interference after connecting to the internet. |

Hi,
I buy a cable modem with Cable Connection. I have couple of questions in my mind about how the cable works. The main question is that I have Motorola Surf Board modem, I saw that the activity light - behind the CPU is blinking, when I am not connected.
Thanks for Answer.... |

Now I am getting a proxy server between my computer & Cable ISP. Would the proxy server affect my connection speed? I want a cable ISP plan that the ISP have higher speed without disturbance. Because I want the cable connection mainly for to play online games.
Thanking for your help. |

Can anyone help me???????
I used my Windows 98SE PC on my home. One day my HDD is crashed, I replaced it and everything is fine smoothly working. But I can’t connect with Internet. My Cable Provider looked upon that but not get solution.
I replaced the Cable, but still occur. With my old & new modem it won’t work well & still not connected with Internet.
I tried running winipconfig for that. Releasing & renewing IP address not worked. I also get DHCP error.
What is the problem with my new HDD? I can’t understand. |

After installing new modem drivers, I can’t connect with Internet. I installed latest NIC drivers, reinstalled TCP/IP protocol on my PC. The problem is that I can’t connect with Internet using my modem.
What I do for getting me online? |

| Currently I use Optimum Online Cable Connection on my three separate modem connections on my home. Can I cancel the two Internet connections & share the third connection to other two? How it is possible & can I do it wireless or not? How much it costs to me? |

| Yes, buy a Linksys router, the best solution for home purpose. Please not go for wireless solution. It is costly but high-speed solution for that. |
