Linux Compatible Laptops |
|
|
Hey guys!
I have never tried to put Linux on a REAL laptop, last time I tried was on an altra-old compaq. Anyway, anyone got a list of what laptops run the OS fine? Main things I am looking for are display & drivers.
Give some advices, |

| I have a Toshiba Satellite 4215-S205 and currently have Mandrake 10 running on it, with XP. I've had Red Hat, Fedora, SUSE and PCLos all loaded on it at various times. Most worked well out of the box, except for the monitor settings. Some required tweaking the settings. |
