Go with 3com
it will give you best speed and there are very less chances to failure
ok

i don't think justin
i have experienced both before i had a 3Com modem for 1 year
now i am with Motorola SB4100 and i am very happy with it and it seems to be worlds ahead of 3Com, its more stable and faster....

Still i will suggest you for Motorola, It provides you great security feature like, it has ethernet AND usb connections on the back of the modem and a standby button on the front that disconnects the modem from your computer but maintains its uplink to the cable provider... great security feature!! and it costs only 2-3 cents

i suggest you "DATA CMX110 and Linksys Ethernet cable modems"
both are known for service, and are reliable modems
