Recommand A Wireless Router |
|
|
Hi Buddies,
I purchase a New Laptop Computer for my wife having weight 802.11 Gms. I want to setup wireless network using the router. I have Link Sys and quite happy with my current Connection. I need wireless network now. I’m considering the Net gear, D-Link or Link Sys routers in my Wireless LAN.
Which is best for me?
Give the solution... pls. |

I suggest you to go for LINKSYS WRT54G or WRT54GS Router. Currently I use WRT54GS router runs very well on my computer that may be well for Online Gaming.
You can visit www.linksys.com for more information.
Thanking you, |

Hi,
I use Motorola WR850G Wireless Router since 10 months & works simply great.. Some of the features that found only in higher end routers that also available in it. For making a perfect wireless LAN, Motorola WN825G – Notebook wireless card or WPCI810G – Desktop Computer wireless card, that gives the best performance that we needed.

I use U.S. Robotics 802.11 g Wireless Turbo router (Model: USR8054) on my HP Notebook. It works very well on my computer & also it costs not much high. If I enable WAP on that I could get 100 MBPS speed on that. Please go throug this Wireless performance report
http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/reviews/CD/article.php/1585191
Please see it, for just to improve your knowledge. |

I found that some routers have problems with some people. I think that how these routers are react with your computer, which is important for you. Many people said that go for Linksys & available at lower range.

| I read an article on PC Mag’s May 18th issue. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1579457,00.asp. I think that they tested some models like Net gear’s FWG114P, D-Link’s DI-824VUP, Linksys’s WRV54G. Because Netgear listed only the WGR614 and WGT624 models. Now think that which is suitable for you. |

- 802.11g ~ max up to 54MBPS
- Serial port
- USB print server
- 60 Mbps WAN-to-LAN output
FWAG114 – Model:

- no serial port
- no print server
- more than 20 Mbps WAN-to-LAN output
