My new Amd Xp3000 is very slow |

I have just buy a new one PC
My configuration
- gigabyte pro2 board
- a dual channel memory
-GeForce 5700 , LE video card
- 200GB HDD and a cd-rom
now my system says my CPU was running 1300MHz but the max speed is 32000MHz this is a great concern because i paid 139 for it!
Help would be appreciated |

| I think you will have to check out your bios and set your FSB to the proper setting. do you know how much FSB should be set?, set it to 166. it is probably set to 100 right now. and you posted the wrong link. |

Your motherboard or BIOS may not support your processor. Make sure you have the latest BIOS version.
When you boot, enter the BIOS by pressing delete, F2, or whatever key is shown on your screen to enter Setup. Your BIOS version number should be on the main BIOS page.
Finish booting and visit the support area of your motherboard manufacturer website and look for BIOS downloads. If the version number is newer than what you have installed, download it. Be sure to read all instructions prior to flashing your BIOS. Doing it wrong is rarely fatal anymore, but it sure can be frustrating to fix.
After flashing with the new BIOS version, enter setup and see if your processor is correctly recognized. If not, reset to default settings and reboot. Enter setup again to see of the processor is correct. If not, your motherboard probably does not support your processor.
