I liked the idea that it pays back to the community, the price is similar to peoplepc. Very clear cut website. I am not thrilled about dial up as much, but thats a great way "donate as you surf"

They were my ISP for about a year and were great when their computer actually logged me in. At least once a month their computer would boot my username and password out of the system and I would have to call them to fix it. It was very frustrating. When renewal time came I was going to switch to another ISP anyway but VIP tried to charge my credit card again only to find that it had expired. Instead of trying to contact me about it they simply shut my account (including email) down leaving me out in the dark. Also, everytime I called I had a long wait time and got the same guy each time. Is there only one man running the place? They may be great in Texas but I don't like some of their stuff in Mississippi.
