Windows XP doesn’t shutting down properly |
On My computer, when I click on shut down process, it goes to the blue screen and says windows in now shutting down and never shuts down. I can leave it there for 2 hours and it will never shut down. The mouse still works and the keyboard caps lock, num lock, scroll lock still work. Anybody know what can cause this or how I can fix it?
Thanks |

| There is probably a system process that won't terminate properly. As for seeing what it is, you could always press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and try to shut down each process manually (except for svchost, csrss, lsass, and some others) and see if any of them don't stop properly. |
