flxtek internet service |
|
|
Hi everyone,
I joined flxtek.net about a month ago, and so far they have a great service.
It is truly unlimited for how long you can be on in a day, but they do knock you off every 4 hours. My router is setup to reconnect automatically so it redials for me and reconnects to the server. You can setup (dialup networking) to do the same thing.
I do like the 7 email addresses. They each have 150 meg of storage space.
They also give you 150 meg of website space (once you contact them by email and have them enable it). Granted, they do not have a website building utility, but you can find those cheap enough. Then just upload your website and your off and running.
They also have a referral program. If someone joins and on the signup screen, they put your email address and say that you referred them, you get a 5 dollar credit on your bill.
If you decide to join, let them know that paulbickwermert@flxtek.net referred you so I can get the credit. Thanks!
All in all, I am very impressed with this Internet Service Provider.
They have like 20,000 numbers all over the USA. They also have phone support as well as email support. All for 6.95 a month for regular dialup or 11.95 a month for highspeed dialup.
I went with the regular dialup.
Well, I hope this post helps if someone is looking into the service that is recieved from flxtek.net.
Have a GREAT DAY!

Thanks for the review, sounds good so far.
Question: I guess I could send them an email directly but do you know if they have ftp access for uploads? |

FLXTEK.NET True Blues... |
|
|
In the last 4-months of my 12-month pre-paid subscription, I have had issues with just about every basic service in using this ISP.
DNS outsourced - intermittent resolution problems... daily - no response.
SMTP mail routing/distribution issues... daily - long delays.
SPAM blocking/filtering problems... daily - mail missing.
Dial-UP Authentication problems... more frequently - failed username.
techsupport@flxtek.net (try it for yourself) - Send an email and see if they reply. Maybe in a couple of days/weeks/months/never!

Voicemail help (try it for yourself) - leave a message and see if they call you back or email you back. Maybe in a couple of days/weeks/months/never!
I blame myself for not doing my homework... it cost me $90.
