Thanks if you find suggestion for me. |

Hi!
First make sure you enter your username correctly and second thing is that your password must be case sensitive.
Try it and if the problem is persist then let me know. |

| Try another access number. The problem might be in access number you have dial. |

| I have a similar problem but I didn't got invalid username password. The Win98SE Dial Up Networking will stuck at verifying username and password and after a long (.5 - 1 min) wait, it come back saying the server does not have the service or something. I tried different numbers in my metro area and even different PC and still have the same problem. |

password failure on Access 4 Free |

| This happens to me time and again. I have the DUN settings set to remember the password. Usually, it works fine. But what I do is type in the password by hand in the DUN and redial. It works the second time around. |

To add a little update on this. This problem happens once in a while and it could stick around for a while too. I tried dialing the number manually, verified with 2 separate modems to make sure it is not a modem issue. I was able to connect, see the prompt to login but I cannot type anything.
On a good day, I can login with my username and password and get into a restricted shell. When it go bad, everything I typed is not received. So I can send/recv but the server can only send.
