Much has been said about the vulnerabilities of Microsoft's Internet Explorer. I've tried both Mozilla and Mozilla Firebird and think they're great. For some reason, Mozilla seems faster on my PC than Firebird. Either way, both are faster loading than IE. Having a tabbed browser is great, but having security is even better.
I 100% agree with you on this.
Not only is Mozilla a lot safer than IE, but a lot of the things that you have to download from 3rd parties as add-ons to IE (such as cookie management and pop-up blocking) come standard with Mozilla. The other great thing is the e-mail client. Since it doesn't use the Windows Address Book, which is targeted by just about every e-mail virus out there, there's no way simply opening an e-mail will spread a virus (unless someone opens an attachment... and then having a good Anti-Virus program takes into play.)
