Wireless router and USB connection

I have a mac desktop with OS X 10.2 and an old imac rev A
running MacOs 8.6. I want a wireless router and a USB adaptor
to network them and share internet access.

I'm looking at the Netgear DG834G and WP121 as you're
offering them as a package, but I can't work out whether the
WP121 will work with my imac and MacOS 8.6. Do you know
whether this will work?

Unfortunately the WG121 is PC Based only Not many manufactures create drivers for the Macs.
If you have an imac then you can consider either an airport card (check first to see if it support airport) or an wireless ethernet bridge that would convert your imac's Ethernet port to wireless.
