How do I recover e-mails and bookmarks?

Problem is I have a Power Mac G3 desktop and I use Netscape communicator 4.75. I had this configured to receive/send e-mails etc. using OS 8.6 and recently upgraded the system to OS 9.2. The problem is my user profile settings went away and I can no longer find previous e-mails and bookmarks that were save in my inbox and bookmark folders. I can get on line OK but would like to know how I can recover my previously saved e-mails and bookmarks. Please advise if you have any solutions or know someone who might.

You may not be able to recover the e-mails, etc. Since you didn't back your files up, there may not be a way. Perhaps, in the future you might want to back the files up. One thing you may want to check is the Netscape files in the 'Program Files' to see if the missing files may be there. Its possible during the upgrade the filenames may have been altered.
