Folder Opens with startup....., System 32 folder opens every
Folder Opens with startup....., System 32 folder opens every time
Every time Windows XP starts up, system 32 folder (maximized,no less) opens (not in start up folder). This strange behavior began after about a month of using new PC. I honestly don't remember installing anything other than hardware/software same as old machine.
Look in your registry.
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE
-->SOFTWARE
-->MICROSOFT
-->WINDOWS
-->CURRENT VERSION
--> Look under the RUN, and RUN Once... etc for anything that looks fishy..
Also have you done a complete virus check?

Same thing happens to me Folder System 32
I also get the same folder opening. no virus, nothing under Run Once.
In the old Windows versions you could go to one of the INI files and install or remove batch files that would do things like this. i have done nothing of the sort.
Any solution to eliminating this minor, but slightly pesky problem?
