the beneits of v92/v44 modems. You must first be careful when buying a modem that is advertised as v.92/44. Alot of the time itj ust means that it is capible of such and you will have to go to the website and download the updated drivers or wait until the updated drivers are released.
V.44 compression can significantly increase Web download speeds-beware of crippled V.92 modems without V.44
v.92 can send data up to 40% faster then regular v.90
V.92 with call waiting service, allows incoming calls while connected to the Internet
