Link Problem

Sometimes when i click on links that leads to websites, i get an error message saying
"Windows cannot find 'http:// (Website Adress)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click Search."
i know the actual site is working properly because if i type the adress myself, it works.....
