ISP domain registration

Does anyone know any ISPs that also does domain registration? I am thinking about creating my own website and would like my own .com

How would i go about doing this? would it be better if i register the domain myself? or go through an ISP? What about hosting? who will be hosting my site? are there any places i can register my domain and have them host my site for me without any sort of restrictions. i want to be able to host anything i want and not be bothered with bandwidth or content restrictions.. any help is appreciated.

It is greatly advised that you register your domain yourself. Just search around and find a place that does registering for cheap. Then you just host the site yourself also. This way you wont have to put up with bandwidth issues and what not, you can take it up with your current ISP, and work out some sort of deal with them. If you go through someone else to have your site hosted and what not, you will be going through their ISP, which means the "middle man" has to make money also or they're giving you the service for nothing. You get what im trying to get at?
