outlook express stops dpwnloading after 30 emails

everytime i open o e my downloading emails stop after 30 and i cant download the rest

any ideas pulling my hair out

What you want to do is contact your ISP and let them know whats going on, or you might want to try to access your email through the web-mail feature all email services provide. This will ensure that all of the mail loads right there infront of your eyes. Most likely this is happening because of SPAM! Yes they are a pain in the butt, you might have a large amount of spam email, which will cause for the connection to time out if 1 particular email is taking too long to download. Another thing might be an actual spam email that is sent to cause for the server to time out.

Some ISP's only allow up to 30 emails to be downloaded at a time through their servers because of spam issues. You should take it up with them and see what their policy is on that. Try to download them in "batches".
