Remote Desktop not works with Dual Monitors? |
I use remote desktop connection from home to my system at work. I work with dual monitor video card at my home & office. When I connect remotely the remote desktop doesn’t see the second monitor.
Any ideas, why it happens?
Thanks! |

Remote Desktop and Dual Monitors |
I have the same issue with Remote Desktop, but in a slightly different configuraiton. I use dual monitors on my office PC, but only 1 at home.
Not really a solution, however I also use PC Anywhere as it does File Transfers better and can print to your home PC from your office PC.
It also handles the 2 monitors much, much better then Remote Desktop....you can see both monitors, desktop and all..

Dual monitor support (not working correctly) |
My setup is local dual monitors + remote dual monitors.
I launched using mstsc.exe /v:(myserverip) /w:2048 /h:768 and it almost works the way i want. I also tried /w:2560 as well with same results:
The remote desktop is maxed out at 1600 horizontally. I am perplexed, as my local and remote system resolution are at 2048 (if you consider both monitors). |
