Could I have a complete set of instructions to set up cable Internet on Windows 98? I have a Surf Board cable modem to connect with Internet.

I am not sure of I have the surfboard sb4100 cable modem connected to my PC.
How do I know if I am not using MSN or other type of accounts?
Is the sb4100 supposed to be listed in the modem section of Device manager on my PC or is just the adapter card supposed to be listed?

Motorola SB4100 is best connected via Ethernet.
Your second question, I don’t understand and on the Device manager only the NIC card will be listed.
