I have two computers in my office. They are set to dial out to the Internet for FTP purposes. However, there is a difference between them. One will hold the connection all day and have no problems. The other seems to want to disconnect after five minutes or so, whether the FTP is finished or not. As it is they are supposed to transmit data every seven minutes 24/7/365. I have both programmed on the modem properties to redial if disconnected but it not just happening
Any suggestions you may have?

So it this happens on multiple lines? That means it is an issue with a modem on the one machine having the problem. Do they both have the same modem? Have you tried replacing the modem driver or the modem itself?
