Suggest Which DSL/ADSL modem is best?

The modem seems that it depends on what type of service and type of modem is being used. What kind of modem and what type of connection they are using, we could keep them the track of whats out there. it may be helpful to those who decide to go with broadband internet when setting up a network and whether or not to purchase a modem on there own or buy the modem provided by the ISP.

I have got a Nortel 1-Meg Modem (960/120) with Bell Sympatico ISP, its got a PPPoE connection. So I must have the connecting program. With their service, you can just plug the modem into your server’s uplink port on the network hub and install the software on 2 computers on the network and they both get their own IPAddess and the DNS Address. Using that your network is ready to connect with internet.
