Do you know Wireless Solution for my Pocket PC?
Currently, I have a T-Mobile Color Sidekick and it's really very much useful with Internet, AIM and E-mail and along with the basic PDA features. But the Sidekick just breaks too much.
Anyways, What I want to know that what kind of wireless services are for Pocket PCs like Dell Axim or the HP iPaq? Are they pretty good and what are their limitations, etc. Basically, I just want to be able to check my e-mail. And if possible, AIM would be nice too. I want to see what kind of wireless services there are for Pocket PCs.
Another thing my whole college campus is covered by WiFi. If my Pocket PC covers it, then I would also be able to use their WiFi on my Pocket PC?
The WiFi, just great, if you have a hotspot near to you.
Or
Wireless data services offered by the various phone companies. You can connect your PocketPC to your phone either by cable or Bluetooth and have data service anywhere you can pick up your cell phone service.
I probably prefer the data service via Bluetooth. Sprint was one of the first one I looked at (just popped in my head) and $40 for only 20MB? I could get $30 for unlimited data on my Sidekick. I tried for this on the website but how fast is the connection from Sprint for PDA? Is it like a regular dial-up or like broadband in a way?
Also, are there any other phone companies that offer data services? The Verizon has a service that allows you to use AIM on a lot of their phones. Also, T-Mobile has some Pocket PCs, and if they don't support AIM out of the box, there are AIM programs for Pocket Pc's. www.snapfiles.com/get/pocketpc/aimppc...
