What qualifies as broadband WiFi?

I have 1 yr contract with Fairnet WISP. On the other hand, Fairnet has a smaller than usual installation fee. WISPS are generally smaller outfits and they're less likely to look out as far as Sprint or Comcast. They have very less competition. None of these issues worry or bother me as much as performance. I don't mind paying, I get less than I paid is the problem with me.

That is a major problem for new WISP's that are looking for the long run on their costs. It all depends on the company; Every Company has different situations to decide how they want to handle it. And we all hope that we made the best decisions.

Link Spot - A WiFi provider that constitutes a WiFi connection and its results are following:
Speed test @ dslr-west1.megapath.net - 184/122 kbps
Now perhaps I am a bit spoiled by my cable modem at home, but a 122k download hardly seems like "broadband" to me. That's at least 3x dialup speed, which seeks in as broadband, but I hate to pay for that.
