I installed new AT&T cable on my network today and I said Bye Bye to Knology Internet. This onnection is a much more faster than older. Before that my best average speed was 600K to 650K but with this new connection it is at from 925K to 1090K. Not a bad increase at all. Now I don't know why I so long waited for for to switch the connection to AT&T.

I have AT&T cable here in MO (MISSOURI). My speed was the same as your connection speed when I installed it first time on my PC. After a few months, my upload speed was at 128 from the ISP to stop others from running servers. My Downloading speed is still at high. It’s not a good deal for customers ,but it slowed my file & e-mail transfer speed. down. Still I can't complain, because I have to concentrate on higher downloading speed.

My best guess is that AT&T uses fast quality equipment like Cisco and Juniper and the other cable guys uses cheapest ones that are availble. I couldn't believe that use of such devices may get much difference on its speed / working capacity.
