Linksys BEFSR41–Is this a Hub or a switch? Do you know that?
Some one said me that Linksys BEFSR41 EtherFast Cable/DSL Router is a Network Hub & some are as a switch. It is it works as both or may be any other device. Can anybody tell me what is this, a hub, router or a switch?
I read from Linksys BEFSR41 review page on PC911:
”There, it is the cutting-edge combination of router and switch technology, that eliminates the user to need to buy an additional hub or switch and serves your network as a full duplex backbone network”.
I get this review as mentioned above, Please read this first:

The Linksys router is compatible with both static and dynamic IP addressing. It is configurable with a browser and easy to determine what IP it uses to dynamically loading the router’s admin page in your browser & Each router has its own private IP address.
With the linksys router and if you have a static IP then you can easily config your router. if you have a dynamic IP, you just need not to config anything on the router. If you change the ISP services and get a new Static IP Address, and using that you can configure your router further when ever you need it.
