Question: ccevtmgr.exe - what is ccevtmgr.exe removal process ?
I have not noticed this 'ccevtmgr.exe' before on my computer, I noticed the 'ccevtmgr' just now and I am a bit concerned and so I want to know what this 'ccevtmgr' does and how to remove the ccevtmgr.exe from my computer ? Please tell me how this file ccevtmgr.exe showed up and do i need to remove this file ? and is removal process easy ?
Did you just install Norton Anti-Virus or Internet Security? This is a core program for Norton Antivirus. You shouldn't worry about un-installing it as it's a critical program for the antivirus software. If you uninstall your Norton product, this will be uninstalled with it.

false, sometimes you uninstall norton antivirus n it still there. how to remove it tho? i uninstalled norton n it still here. if you have a clue tell me plz.
the followings are still here even i uninstalled norton antivirus 2005. i cant install norton back cuz it find these programs installed n ask to remove em.

Hi All,
ccevtmgr.exe uses more than 80% of my CPU memory. From last couple of days my system work very slow and when I checked my Task Bar I found ccevtmgr.exe running and using more than 80% of CPU usage. That’s really strange for me. Why this happen to my system? I want to fix this problem. I even can’t end this process by click on End Task.

Ccevtmgr Error
When I start my computer, an error box with Ccevtmgr comes up and says this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. When I try to click it, my computer is frozen. What should I do to fix it?
