Version 1991 of Hijackthis looks at services and the like. It's ever so useful at disabling all kinds of stuff. You will want to boot to safe mode though, or close down everything except for the Windows XP essential processes, because if the process in question is running when you remove it from startup (if its spyware or whatever) it will immediatly just re-add itself.

Hi,

cdac11ba.exe's process name is Macrovision RTS Service.

cdac11ba.exe is part of copy-protection software Macrovision Safe Cast. This piece of software allows manufacturers to protect their products from illegal duplication. If you are using this service so, don’t stop from your task manager.
