I have not noticed 'cthelper.exe' showing in my Task Manager, under the Tab "process" header before on my computer,I noticed the 'cthelper' just now and I am a bit concerned and so I want to know what this 'cthelper' does and how to remove the 'cthelper.exe' from my computer ? Also I want to know whether it is a system process or user process and Is it because of some error in any program exe, virus or worm? Please tell me how this file cthelper.exe showed up and do I need to remove this file ? And is Removal process easy?

cthelper.exe is plug-in-manager. It is part of CtHelper Application. It is installed with Creative Labs SoundBlaster Devices or Driver. cthelper.exe is background process on your computer. If you are using creative driver or device on your computer it is available in your task manager so don't worry about cthelper.exe because it is not virus or worm.

As far as my research is concerned, cthelper.exe should not be removed. It is highly recommended for automatic memory optimization, CPU and internet settings.
