Question: notepad.exe - what is notepad.exe process removal ?

I have not noticed 'notepad.exe' showing in my Task Manager, under the Tab "process" header before on my computer,I noticed the 'notepad' just now and I am a bit concerned and so I want to know what this 'notepad' does and how to remove the 'notepad.exe' from my computer ? Also I want to know whether it is a system process or user process and Is it because of some error in any program exe, virus or worm? Please tell me how this file notepad.exe showed up and do I need to remove this file ? And is Removal process easy?

Hi Friends,

Notepad.exe is a basic text editor. Notepad.exe is default text editor included in Windows. You can use for simple documents or for creating Web pages. Notepad.exe is windows system file and should be in a system directory. This application is safe.
