Question: wmplayer.exe - what is wmplayer.exe process removal ?

I have not noticed 'wmplayer.exe' showing in my Task Manager, under the Tab "process" header before on my computer,I noticed the 'wmplayer' just now and I am a bit concerned and so I want to know what this 'wmplayer' does and how to remove the 'wmplayer.exe' from my computer ? Also I want to know whether it is a system process or user process and Is it because of some error in any program exe, virus or worm? Please tell me how this file wmplayer.exe showed up and do I need to remove this file ? And is Removal process easy?

Wmplayer.exe is used for Microsoft windows media player executable file.
Just give the end task process from task manager it will remove from your system.
But when you start windows media player next time it will automatically run.

This file is concern with player so don’t worry about it.

This file is not a spy ware or virus.

So enjoy the player and have fun

Hi Pamy143,

This error might arise if the system time is not set correctly, if the basic input/output system (BIOS) time is not set correctly, or both.

Follow these steps for set correct system time:

1st Step: Open Control Panel from Setting from Start Menu.

2nd Step: Go to Date and Time and Open

3rd Step: Set correct Monty-Date-Year and Hours-Minutes-Second.

4th Step: Click on the Time Zone Tab.

5th Step: Select your time zone from the list of time zones, and then click OK.

Try these steps to solve your problem.

Good Luck!!
