crypserv.exe - how to remove crypserv.exe process ?
Question: crypserv.exe – how to remove crypserv.exe process ?
There was some problem of speed in My Computer, when I was monitoring the Windows Task Manager’s Process List and I found crypserv.exe. Does any one knows about crypserv ? Is it any system process or user process ? I have been using Norton Antivirus and it has not detected it as virus or worm, so is it related to any spy ware? Please tell me how this file crypserv.exe showed up and how can I remove this crypserv.exe process and will it generate any windows error ? Is there any crypserv.exe removal tool or utility available ?

Information about crypserv.exe
Hi,
crypserv.exe is CrypKey NT Service.
crypserv.exe is responsible for the licensing of this product. This file is for running certain applications that use host ID generation to create an encrypted key, you then license that key with the software manufacturer and it is specific to your individual computer and cannot be transferred to another. If you do not have any software like this, there is no reason to have it on your computer and it can be deleted with out incident. So relax about crypserv.exe because it is not spyware or a virus.
