Question: Become isp - how to become your own isp

Everyone is talking about dsl but my friend is making good money running his own isp business. So I want to know bascially that, to become isp, what does it require for me to become my isp and also what is the technical knowledge to start my own isp. I think its called starting a virtual isp and I am ok with that. ANd its pretty cheap to start so let me know.

OK seen it all. Yes you can become an isp some companies very easy some make it hard. I would never pay to become one they make money off you no matter if you make any or not.

I suggest doing free ones you still can make money.
