DUN Error 731 is a common connection error that occurs when your computer cannot establish a connection. This may occur when your computer or modem is in irresolvable state. So, that further connection attempts could not completed.

To solve this Error 731, Please restart your computer and then try to connect with Internet.

If restarting of your computer did not solve it, please do the following steps :
- Click on Start > Control panel > Network. Now select the TCP/IP. If TCP/IP is not available then click on Add > protocol then select TCP/IP protocol and finish the series of step that installs TCP/IP protocol on you computer.
- If the TCP/IP listed over there, then click on properties. Select the IP Address Tab & click on assign IP address Automatically.
- Now click on DNS then click on Disable DNS. Then click on Bindings and select the Client for Microsoft Networks. Then click on OK and restart your computer.
- If still the problem arrives then click on Control panel > Add & remove programs. Click on Windows components and select the communications and then press Ok. Now your computer restarts.
