Some broadband ISP advice?
Hi all..
I have long found this to be an extremely useful site, but this is the first time I have posted.
I have had ADSL for several years now (512k/128k), and I have now
decided that its about time I moved up to a faster service.
I am looking to move to a 2Mb download speed, I need a Static IP (preferably included but would be willing to pay extra monthly) and no cut-off time/usage limits. I am not really fussed about any other "frills" as they arent necessary to me, its just the speed I am interested in foremost.
I browsed some reviews on here, looked at Bulldog/Firefly etc...
Has anybody got any recommendations for a particularly good ISP that can provide me with what I am looking for? Obviously I know that any responses might be biased to the point of the view of the poster, but at present I really want to draw up a shortlist of decent ISPs who offer good service and the speed that I want.
