what is dllhost.exe process ? Is dllhost.exe any virus or wo
Question:what is dllhost.exe process ? Is dllhost.exe any virus or worm ?
There was some problem of speed in My Computer, and in the Windows Task Manager’s Process List I found dllhost.exe. Is it any normal system process, error or is it any error exe, worm, virus or any spy ware? It looks to be part of windows process list, but I am not sure and want to remove dllhost.exe Process. Please advise me what should I do and how do I remove this process?
dllhost.exe is a part of the Microsoft Windows Operating System. dllhost.exe is a Windows DCOM DLL Host Process it run web applications dll based with IIS. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated. This file is loaded in c:windows\system32 directory. But, In other cases DLLhost.exe is a virus or worm!

dllhost.exe Error
Hello Guise,
When I installed .net frame work and I got dllhost.exe file causes an error giving the error massage dllhost.exe has generated an error and will be closed by windows. This is repeatable, and so far has been noticed while:
>1> Installing .NET Framework, >2> Uninstalling .NET Framework, >3> Trying to access Component Services
The problem also occurs with both SP3 and SP4. I have Windows XP SP4.
When I look at the log in Dr.Watson it says:
dllhost.exe c0000005 <no symbols> (775CD6C7)
I believe the c0000005 is an access permission error, and have no idea what the other number is for. Please help me to fix this problem!!

dllhost.exe
Hay All,
Anyone knows how to disable dllhost.exe in Windows NT? They are causing my CPU usage to stay constantly above 80%. I don’t show up in the "services" like in Win2K.
