Question: inetinfo.exe – how to remove inetinfo.exe process ?

There was some problem of speed in My Computer, when I was monitoring the Windows Task Manager’s Process List and I found inetinfo.exe. Does any one knows about inetinfo ? Is it any system process or user process ? I have been using Norton Antivirus and it has not detected it as virus or worm, so is it related to any spy ware? Please tell me how this file inetinfo.exe showed up and how can I remove this inetinfo.exe process and will it generate any windows error ? Is there any inetinfo.exe removal tool or utility available ?

inetinfo.exe is not virus or worm. inetinfo.exe is IIS debugger tool.
inetinfo.exe is used primarily for debugging Microsoft Windows Server Internet Information Services. This is a vital system process for anybody running an IIS based server. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated. This file is located in c:\windows\system folder. But, in other cases inetinfo.exe is a virus or worm!

I recently found inetinfo.exe on my computer. While searching what is inetinfo.exe? I found this forum. This is really an active forum and I found some information of inetinfo.exe. I'm relax bcoz inetinfo.exe is not virus or worm!

inetinfo.exe is not virus. It is IIS Admin Service Helper. If you are using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). It is available on your computer. If you don’t use IIS uninstall from add and remove program.
