Question: isafe.exe – how to remove isafe.exe process ?

There was some problem of speed in My Computer, when I was monitoring the Windows Task Manager’s Process List and I found isafe.exe. Does any one knows about isafe ? Is it any system process or user process ? I have been using Norton Antivirus and it has not detected it as virus or worm, so is it related to any spy ware? Please tell me how this file isafe.exe showed up and how can I remove this isafe.exe process and will it generate any windows error ? Is there any isafe.exe removal tool or utility available ?

Hello Guys,

Isafe.exe is not suspected as virus. Isafe.exe is a part of Computer Associates eTrust AntiVirus which keeps your Internet security product up to date. If you are using eTrust Antivirus it is show up in your task manager and also in your compute. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated. If you dont want it you can remove it. But you can continue with Isafe.exe, it will not create any problem.

Bye... Smile
