Outlook Express Problems
I have just started having this error &When I try to reply to any message in Outlook , it's producing an error that says:
The Macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros.
I have attempted to change the setting of Macro Security in Outlook by going to Tools >> Macro >> Security and I have tried every setting, and the problem still occurs.
pop/smtp servers run into alot of problems unless its an account given to you specifically from your ISP (internet service provider)
When you have a pop/smtp email account that is not from your ISP, problems usually arrise because your ISP is trying to restrict you to their email only for whatever reason.
Thats why web-based email accounts, such as hotmail, yahoo, etc, are always good to use since you access it from the website.
How I can stop dual messages and also how I can delete an E-mail message, that same message comes up again, how do I correct this.
actually I had a Digital problem after solving that this problem started
First Click on Tools and then Options.
Then, Click on the General tab.
Be sure Check for new messages every X minute(s) is NOT checked.
Click on the Send tab.
Be sure that Send messages immediately is NOT checked.
If you are using Windows 95 version of Outlook Express, click on the Dial Up tab.
Check the following steps:
When you start outlook express - Do'n dial a connection.
Stay over there when finished sending, receiving, or downloading.
Automatically dial when checking for new messages.
Then click on OK.
To Compose mail offline, you have to do following steps.
- In the Outlook Express, Click on File > New > New mail message or click on create mail.
It opens a window in which you can specify the Recipients Email address, Subject and the message in it.
- After writing message click on send button. That sends your email in outbox of the specific account.
This may be cause when you shut down your Windows improperly and also selected compacting background.. You can check this by looking under Tools / Options / Maintenance.
The emails are stored in DBX files. They can be extracted using a free utility.
Your Anti-virus software also can cause this. To avoid this problem in future, turn off email scan, auto update and Internet (ActiveX) filter.

To solve the problem you must delete all Outcmd.dat files from your computer.
Please follow these steps:
Click on the Start menu, scroll to "Find/Search" and select "Files or Folders".
Then a new “Search” window will open.
In the box titled "Find/Search for files or folders", write "outcmd.dat".
Then, click on the "Find/Search now" button.
On the left hand side of the window a list appear for ‘outcmd.dat’, delete all the ‘outcmd.dat’.
