SSH error Red Hat Linux 9.0

just install Red Hat 9.0 on my PC and it won’t let me SSH into it from another box.
From Windows SSH, I get the following error:
Unexpected socket error: 1007, ji0
From a Linux box I get:
port 22: Connection refused.

I searched around net but nothing. Do you have IP tables running? If so you may need to open a firewall rule to allow port 22 connections.

Thanking you. I did it but after some time it's back the same again. I'll look at the firewall. I thought that I had turned it off but it still arrives.
