Cable TV but only subbing to Cable Internet
Someone told me that if I sub to Cable Internet and If I hook up my tv to the cable I would be surprised to see I also have Cable TV, I tried it out yesterday since I'm on Sat now and I have Cable Internet, I noticed I got about 10 channels VERY clear, but only 10/75. What does the Cable company do to prevent me from getting the 65 other channels, if it is a filter and I removed the filter would it affect my internet connection?

if the cable company has not updated recently u can take the filter off so they cant detect it u can run it into a blank line so they think the filter is still ther
