I have a cable box in my yard. I was the first with cable internet on the box but now they have a splitter with one of my neighbors on the same plug.

if i move my cable or my neighbors cable to an open slot will the cable company notice at their office somehow?

my connect used to be awsome and i think the splitter is why my pings jump so bad now.

Hi,

Have u read terms and conditions of your Cable Internet Provider??? I think every cable internet provider put splitter on their Cable Box because its not possible for them to give one single cable to one cable internet subscriber. So, thats not a problem but if it effect on your surfing speed than there is some problem. So, contact your Cable Internet Provider for further assitance.

Bye.
